Atomic Habits by James Clear. 

 

This book really helped me see things in a different way. I had a week where I was really struggling with pain and I was so upset. I was overwhelmed with the idea that my life was now nothing but unpredictable pain and porridge.... then I found this book. 

Here are the main points that I picked up from the book  - 1. You define what is a win for yourself. 2. Good habits take time to form, so give yourself some time. 3. Where you are heading is more important than where you have been and where you are now. 4. Be consistent. 5. Small wins are still wins. 

I know this section is called I read it so you don't have to, but I do recommend you read this book for yourself. The lessons I took from it may not be the same that you will take from it. I will be posting about more books in the future.
